The right set size depends on whether you need one specific cutter or want several sizes and styles ready for different customers projects. A single cutter can be a practical choice for repeat work, while a multi-piece set gives you more flexibility without buying each size separately and cuts down on ordering and price. In my shop I have the Timberline 8-piece set that has four diameters in both straight and tapered styles, and I also have the Amana 2-piece repair set which gives me a specialized option for solid-surface work. Single cutters are available giving you choices for focused jobs o but I prefer these sets to have a broader amount of versatility.
Remember Quality is the key to great work flow in your shop , having to stop a job because of less expensive tools or bit cuts deeply into your bottom line and customers don't want to hear excuses.
