The table saw can be the most creative tool in your shop but it can be the most destructive too . When operating a table saw you must always have the presence of mind the what you are doing and never be distracted in your thoughts. Never operate a table saw without proper safety equipment, such as safety glasses and a push stick. Never reach over or behind the blade while it is running, and avoid wearing loose clothing or jewelry that could get caught in the saw. Always stand out of the line of the blade so you won't get hit by the work piece in case os a "Kick Back" which sends the work piece rocketing in that direction.
