Question: What router bit for window stool?
Answer: For making a window stool, a router bit with a roundover profile is commonly used to create a smooth, rounded edge on the front of the stool. A 1/2" or 3/4" roundover bit is typical, depending on the desired radius. Additionally, a cove or ogee bit can be used for a more decorative edge. In my shop the customer decides the profile and I have many quality router profiles available for them.
