The cutting height (CH) is the depth or vertical reach of the bit, which is very important for achieving the desired profile and depth on door panels and edges. A longer cutting height allows for deeper, defined profiles, a shorter height is suitable for shallow or delicate designs on a workpiece. They range from 1/4" to 1-3/16" in the RC-2484 (1/4"), RC-2481 (15/32"), and RC-4022 (1-3/16"). I use all of these profile bits in my shop .Having a variety allows me to match the bit to the material thickness and desired finished look, ensuring that my customer is happy with the outcome.
