A sander backing pad is a flat, usually circular attachment that connects to a power sander . It provides support and cushioning for the sandpaper or abrasive disc,and evenly distributes the pressure and improve sanding performance. The backing pad also helps secure the Hook and loop sandpaper in place during operation. Using the correct sander with the right sandpaper will make the project easier and the have the best outcome.
