The choice between corded and cordless track saws depends on your need for mobility versus continuous power. I have both and my Corded saws provide unlimited runtime and consistent performance great for workshop or jobsite use with reliable power, as in the Festool TS 55 FEQ-F-Plus. Cordless models, such as the Festool TSC 55 is excellent for portability at jobsites without power outlets or for moving around large projects. Battery technology which mean many cordless saws now rival corded models in power and run time, so you can choose based on your preferred workflow. I have and use both corded and cordless Festool track saws listed above constantly in shop and on jobsites , they just never fail.
