A bevel cut is used when you need to create an angled edge along the edge of the material, rather than a straight 90-degree cut. It is commonly used for joining pieces at an angle, such as in picture frames, trim work, or to create decorative edges. Use a bevel cut when you want two pieces to fit together seamlessly along a sloped edge. In my shop we use this feature very often and it makes a difference in the outcome.
