The insert size and dimensions determine the cutting efficiency and the ability to replace worn cutting edges. The larger inserts provide more cutting area and work great handling heavier workloads, while smaller inserts are perfect for smaller fine detail work. Having an adjustable insert systems, as in the RC-2375 and RC-2370, which I use in my shop allow for easy replacement and extended tool life. That makes them more cost-effective and versatile , having a variety of insert sizes ensures I can choose the best fit for their application, from heavy-duty to precision tasks, when choosing a chamfer bit for CNC , router table and hand held router work.
