The angle of a cnc chamfer bit determines the cut and the final appearance of the workpiece. In my shop I always run a test piece of the same wood I'm using to make sure it is exactly the finish I need .Getting the correct angle is very important for the aesthetic and functional outcome angles to provide a distinct edge, wider angles offer a more subtle transition. As an example, the RC-2375 has an adjustable chamfer angles in 15° adjustments which offers flexibility, For a fixed 120° angle for wide V-grooves I use the DRB-419 that provides me with constant fixed angle choice. Achieving the precise angle/finish in my shop lets me cater to the customers needs and having a wide selections of bits keeps my shop running great with no interruption because I have to oreder a specific bit or angle bit.
