The length of a chamfer bit determines how deeply it can cut into a workpiece that impacts if it can work with your machine's collet and spindle setup. Using a longer bits allow for deeper cuts but may introduce more flex, a shorter bits offer greater stability and less vibration/ flex. The RC-2370 gives you ample reach for large-scale chamfering, and the DRB-416 is more compact for precision work. Having a wide selection of bits for every job is the key to having a smooth running shop with no interruptions.
