The profile type or shape defines the look that the bit will cut on the material, as in V-groove, round-over, ball end, or chamfer. Choosing the correct profile type is essential for getting the desired decorative or functional edge. I use the RC-1126 because it is great for channel cutting, while a V-groove bit such as the DRB-417 is suited for engraving or chamfering. Having different profile types, allows me to choose the perfect cnc chamfer bit for their specific design requirements that my customers requested .
