The cutting height how deep or the look of the raised panel effect will be on your workpiece. A deeper profiles can add dimension and elegance, and a shorter height is more suited for thinner or lighter panels. The SC509 and SC516 has a 5/8 inch cutting height, which is great for standard panel thicknesses. In my shop I stock many different heights so they are available immediately for my jobs and projects . Customers don't want to hear that you must order a cutter , they want on-time jobs.
