Answer: We suggest that you try 80" IPM @ 18,000 RPM with a chip load of 0.005" and a step down of 1.588mm.

Question: Tool 51458: Can I full-slot 3/16" 6061‑T6 in one pass? Recommend feeds/speeds (spindle ≤18k RPM) and for 1/4"?
Answer: With this bit if the material is 3/16" thick you can run the bit at 55" IPM @18,000 RPM
Chip Load Per Tooth: 0.003"
Depth per pass: 3/16"
Ramp Down: 22.5 IPM
If you use 1/4" material you can use the same parameters
